The month of April is designated as "Eastern European Month." The people of Ohio are called upon to observe this month with appropriate educational opportunities, ceremonies, events and activities. The Eastern European Congress of Ohio selects one person to honor at their Eastern European Month Dinner Celebration, which is held in April. We welcome nominations for future honorees that have demonstrated their devotion and acknowledgement of their heritage. Please contact us at eecofohio@gmail.com for any further information. Criteria for the selection process is that the honoree is an Ohio resident, of Eastern European heritage and has involvement in their Eastern European heritage.
